I feel that AIDS is a terrible virus.Not only does it kill mercilessly,there is also no cure...Many asians have died due to AIDS.It is a pity, really.Losing so many innocent lives to a disease that can be avoided if we do not engage in multiple, improper or premarital sex.
We should not even do this kind of things.It is because of lust that we actually engage in this kind of sinful acts.I guess this is God's way of punishing man for their sins...I guess, man deserves it!If we do not engage in dirty acts, we would not get this fatal disease.Is it worth it,when we engage in this kind of acts,and then just die.Isn't it just plain stupid,that we die just because of a moment of lust.
Singaporeans,as labelled by foreigners,are selfish people.I do not think it is possible for any single one of us to be just like Gao Yao Jie.She is a hero,even if she is old.She tells all the young people out there:"I'm old, so what?I can do what many young people can't or are too lazy to do.". I feel ashamed.Why should we not do anything when an old woman can do it.She is speaking out for people who suffer from AIDS. She has the courage to do what the majority of people wouldn't even think of doing...That is why i say singaporeans will never be able to be like her.She is selfless,a real hero...

Following your logic, God is punishing the children who are born with AIDS. He is also punishing the unknowing spouse who's partner had an extramarital affair with the wrong person.
Dr. Gao Yaojie is definitely selfless. She doesn't judge anyone or blame them for their ignorance of AIDS. Instead, she tries to help as many people as she can with the limited and often government stifled resources she has.
Life is fatal.
By the way, I'm a foreigner and have never thought of Singaporeans as selfish. Americans(which I am) are for sure, no doubt. It seems as if you think Singaporeans are selfish though....
