Racism to me is a very serious offence.I hate racists to the core.So what if other people are different colored skin from us.That does not make them inferior compared to us.I myself being a chinese accept my malay and indian counterparts.Even though i am from an all chinses family,my uncle married a malay woman and they have two beautiful children.Both are daughters and are quite intelligent.My uncle insisted that they study both chinese and malay.In fact,i am quite jealous of them,as they have three languages that they are able to speak in society.I find malay culture and language to be quite fascinating.
But back to the point.My uncle marrying a malay woman proves that racial harmony does exist.In the article given to me by my teacher(ms lim==), it states that a group of students were punished for not wearing traditional costumes on racial harmony day.This is said to be an act of racism.I do not agree with this statement as wearing traditional costumes do not symbolise racial harmony,it just symbolises that we wear it to make the school happy.That is plain ridiculous is it not?The school must have lost its mind when it came up with this nutty idea.Not all children can come in traditional costumes as some might be under financial assistance or they have no time to buy it.So the school is wrong in every aspect and this kind of school deserve to be ridiculed and laughed at.
Traditional costumes,are just an outer shell.You can be a racist even if you are wearing traditional costumes.And you might be a perfectly good-hearted person who does not wear traditional costume.
I hope,that this school is not a singapore school as singapore is a multi-racial society.All people of all races live with each other in this small country.
So,i conclude my refelction.I hereby say that this so-called school is not right in punishing those students and they should really think over what they did...

Do you think the Harry Potter series is good enough to be considered a classic?
I think that the Harry Potter series is capable of becoming a classic.I mean,why not?It's author,JK Rowling,is the first billionaire author in the world.If she is capable of achieving that,i do not see why its impossible for her books to become a classic.We may look 30 years down the road and our children would be saying:"Harry Potter is such a fantastic book!"
Not only based on the fact that i said above,others have been saying that it is very interesting.JK Rowling has a fantastic style of writing that brings out the characters,making them come to life.Thus,people will come back for more.The only thing thats stopping me from purchasing the book is the price.It is ridiculous.I would rather wait a few months and the price would be much cheaper.I will not be so stupid as to buy it so early and lose so much money.
But back to the reflection.The fact that so many people purchase the book at this steep price proves that it is a good book.And thus i conclude that the Harry Potter series is good enough to be considered a classic.

AIDS-my personal opinion
I feel that AIDS is a terrible virus.Not only does it kill mercilessly,there is also no cure...Many asians have died due to AIDS.It is a pity, really.Losing so many innocent lives to a disease that can be avoided if we do not engage in multiple, improper or premarital sex.
We should not even do this kind of things.It is because of lust that we actually engage in this kind of sinful acts.I guess this is God's way of punishing man for their sins...I guess, man deserves it!If we do not engage in dirty acts, we would not get this fatal disease.Is it worth it,when we engage in this kind of acts,and then just die.Isn't it just plain stupid,that we die just because of a moment of lust.
Singaporeans,as labelled by foreigners,are selfish people.I do not think it is possible for any single one of us to be just like Gao Yao Jie.She is a hero,even if she is old.She tells all the young people out there:"I'm old, so what?I can do what many young people can't or are too lazy to do.". I feel ashamed.Why should we not do anything when an old woman can do it.She is speaking out for people who suffer from AIDS. She has the courage to do what the majority of people wouldn't even think of doing...That is why i say singaporeans will never be able to be like her.She is selfless,a real hero...
